CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
Every year more than 75,000 people of all ages come to the Celebrate Fairfax! Festival. It’s Northern Virginia's largest festival and it shows, bringing together an entire region for a weekend of family-oriented fun. Among the activities are carnival rides, silent disco, big-name musical acts, a pop-up beer festival, and block after block of creative, attractive, interactive displays set up by the event’s sponsors.
The role WeSellEvents plays in the annual Celebrate Fairfax! Festival has grown since 2016, when we turned around some significant sponsorship deals in a hurry for the event. We continue to serve as a conduit for corporate sponsorships, and we continue to leverage the long-term relationships we’ve built with local corporate decision-makers to secure donations and cost-saving deals on needed materials. Plus, WSE is responsible for developing new signage and marketing collateral to generate brand awareness for sponsors of the Celebrate Fairfax! Festival.
In 2018, WeSellEvents did all that and more. We enhanced the event’s activation rate with existing sponsors through unique branding opportunities, including digital marketing partnerships. We helped Celebrate Fairfax Festival develop and distribute a new e-newsletter to broaden its reach with potential sponsors. And we created attention-grabbing new guest experiences such as the Mosaic Mural, a 20-foot piece of canvas painted by thousands of festival-goers. The work of collective art will be on display in the Mosaic District of Merrifield in vibrant celebration of Fairfax County, Virginia.
