2018 US POLICE & FIRE CHAMPIONSHIPS 
CREATING MORE VALUE FROM A GREAT EVENT

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

The home of the U.S. Police & Fire Championships, ever since the inaugural USPFC in 1967, has been San Diego, California. With 38 different Olympic-style sports taking place at 33 separate venues throughout San Diego County – everything from archery to weight lifting, rowing to beach volleyball – it took a massive coordination and logistics effort in June of 2018 to determine which of America's crime-fighting, fire-fighting, community-serving heroes would take home #USPFCGold.

It was We Sell Events' performance in staging the World Police & Fire Games, just up the road in Los Angeles in the previous year of 2017, that earned us the right to work with the established, esteemed U.S. Police & Fire Championships, now beyond its 50th edition and strong as ever. Just as we did for #WPFG2017, WeSellEvents was able to bring a host of new sponsorship to #USPFC2018 – while also producing added value for those sponsors with brand mentions on the USPFC's official social media.

 

WSE aided in the logistics of putting on the Championships, including securing and coordinating with competition venues throughout the city and county of San Diego. In addition, We Sell Events leveraged our existing business relationships to secure cost-cutting in-kind donations of materials to help produce the huge week-long sporting spectacle.
