GEXCon (The Gaming and Entertainment Experience Convention) 2018, will take place at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia August 31 - September 2, 2018. Produced by FIAD Entertainment Group, LLC, GEXCon brings video and board game players and fans from the metropolitan area and beyond.  Past attendees have traveled from all across the United States, Canada and even Australia.

WIth a mix of highly competitive esports events, casual tournaments and free play areas, there is something for everyone.  The main esports tournament is the Cougar $10,000 CS:GO D.C. Open featuring up to 32 teams competing for a spot in the $30,000 NSG Eastern Conference Championship finals to be held later this year. There will also be a $1,000 Rocket League Tournament and Cash Prized Fighting Game section.

For those looking for less competitive but high energy entertainment, GEXCon offers a Free To Play area where attendees can sit down and play one of hundreds of games. The F2P Tournament area will feature free tournaments for League of Legends, Overwatch, HearthStone and more. GEXCon also features Virtual Reality stations, Cosplay, Board Games, Exhibitors, Artists and an Arcade.  Computer Upgrade King will be providing 100 high end PCs for our F2P Tournament section and 50 Free Play PCs.  GEXCon even has a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN area.
