INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
BRINGING OUT BIG NAME SPONSORS
History lives in the Town of Leesburg. George Washington slept here, quite a few times. Today it’s the biggest incorporated town in Virginia and every Fourth of July it puts on a spectacular celebration of American independence: Fife-and-drum corps, Patriot's Cup competition, live concert on stage, a mile-long parade and a breathtaking fireworks show choreographed to patriotic music. All free to the public, made financially possible by local corporate partnerships.
WeSellEvents assisted the Town's sponsorship staff by bringing a well-known brand name to the sponsors' table in 2018. Leveraging relationships within the local business community, we helped sign Topgolf, the nation's premier golfing venue, as a sponsor for Leesburg's Fourth of July extravaganza. For their sponsorship, Topgolf was granted highly visible display space at the parade’s terminus at scenic Ida Lee Park. In addition, Topgolf was acknowledged in the event program and linked from its website.
This mutually beneficial deal resulted in greater resources for the town's Independence Day celebration, in addition to increased marketing exposure for Topgolf's locations in nearby Loudoun, Alexandria and Maryland’s National Harbor.
