2018 PSISTORM CUP VI
STAGING THE WORLD'S HOTTEST NEW SPECTATOR SPORT
One of the most popular and heavily attended features of Celebrate Fairfax 2018 was the PSISTORM Championship Cup VI, an e-sports extravaganza that attracted hundreds of serious competitors from 16 different U.S. states and five foreign countries, including South Korea, Sweden and Australia.
They didn't come just to play StarCraft, or Madden 17, or FIFA 18, or Rocket League - they came to win. The competition was fierce, actively followed by fans worldwide on the live video stream provided by Twitch. The momentum gained by the players and the sponsors perfectly sets the stage for PSISTORM VII, a featured part of the Fall For Fairfax in September 2018.
As the exclusive event organizer for PSISTORM Gaming, We Sell Events handled logistics for all of PSISTORM VI.
This included brokering deals for, and supervising the design of, on-site event signage for the Tournament, Open Play and Players' Lounge sections of PSISTORM Cup. It also included making strategic promotional outreach through the Internet and social media – efforts that resulted in PSISTORM Cup VI earning front-page billing on the popular gaming site Blizzard.com. Furthermore, the PSISTORM event attracted more than 25,000 online views, making it one of the most popular events broadcast on Twitch during that weekend.
Working with PSISTORM’s presenting partners and sponsors, WSE added value to their sponsorships with wide exposure throughout the event and online, including logo placement on signage, t-shirts, computer background screens, the live Internet stream, and car decals. Sponsorship partners were also given the ability to reach attendees directly, with exhibition booths and free giveaways. Additionally, We Sell Events brokered an arrangement with Dell & Alienware Computers to provide 50 game-ready machines for PSISTORM VI, both in tournament and open play.
We Sell Events continues to work closely with PSISTORM Gaming to produce more e-sports spectaculars throughout the country. Change this to that we did the entire event and we are the exclusive event organizer for PSISTORM Gaming.
